Leader (born Dembowsky) between 1918 and 1922. He lived in Pasadena, California, in 1918.
Anna D. Leader (born Dembowsky) was born on September 14, 1897, in New York, New York, her father, Samuel, was 37,
and her mother, Pearl, was 32. She had one son and one daughter with Louis R Leader between 1918 and 1922.
She passed away on November 19, 1991, at the age of 94.

RESEARCH SHOWS: Samuel Dembowsky was born in January 1860, to Abraham 31 and Mary.
He married Pearl Baker in 1886. They had five children in 14 years. He died on June 3, 1934,
in Hollywood, California, at the age of 74.
Pearl Dembowsky (b. Baker) was born in September 1865.
She died on February 9, 1935, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 69.
Dora (Dorothy) Maidenberg (born Dembowsky) was born on December 22, 1889, to Samuel 29 and Pearl 24.
She married Joseph Michael Maidenberg on June 26, 1904, in Temple City, California.
She died in October 1974 in Angels, California, at the age of 84.

This large antique photo album is blue velvet with red berries on the cover.
It has a Total of 44 Studio Portraits Inside. There are 28 Cabinet Photos & 16 Smaller CDV Photos.
All of the spaces are full and most of them are identified. The antique dealer tried to erase several
of the identifications to attempt to “clean up” the album for sale. I don’t want to guess at what they
say but an investigator could probably pull them up.

Stinson Family Large Photo Album
This family photo album features over-sized portraits from the late 1800's or early 1900's. These photos are all different sizes.
Two are large (approx. 7 3/4" x 10") paper-framed hand colored tintypes which are extremely rare and in pristine condition.
Most of the pictures have the names hand written on the back others have the names hand-written in the album.
A couple of them show ladies in beautiful gowns. Of the 26 portraits, most are of individual people, men, women and children. One is a family photo of 7 people with names below in pencil on album page. The album is approx. 14" x 12".

This ( 8 x 11 x 2.5 inches) album has a red fabric covering with a white rose on the cover.
It features 63 portraits and 6 of them are tintypes and at least one has a Civil War stamp.
There are four antique greeting cards from friends and family.
This unique album has pages of single cabinet cards, pages of 4 carte-de-vistas
per page and similar pages cut to accommodate double cabinet cards.
The amazing thing is the almost without exception the names
in the album are duplicated on the backs of the photos.

Rutilleous Britt (R.B.) Basford was born on June 2, 1836, in Guilford, Maine, to Pliny 27 and Sarah 30. He had three brothers
and one sister. He died on March 3, 1916, in Winona, Minnesota, having lived a long life of 79 years.
Henry Orlando Basford born 22 Apr 1838 married Mary Eliza Miller born 27 Apr 1844 in 1876 in Winona, Minnesota.
Their children were Harry Miller Basford born 13 Feb 1878 and
Helen Louise Basford born 18 Aug 1881 - died Mar 1889 in Austin, Minnesota.
Harry Miller Basford was born on February 13, 1878, in Austin, Minnesota, to Henry 39 and Mary 33.

The album appears to have been put together by Mary Maude Scofield daughter of Howard Myron Scofield ( 1868 - 1954 ) and Alice Neff ( 1870). It is a vintage album with a picture of the lady and two children on the cover. The photos are almost all of the Scofield family and relatives. The good thing is that she wrote their names and relationships by their photos. There are Uncles, Aunts, grandparents, Brother in laws and cousins. There are 23 photos with only one empty slot.

Two albums from the Ault and related families from the Seymour/Shelbyville/Columbus, Indiana area.

I purchased all of the family's photos, in a desperate attempt to keep them together or at least searchable.
There are 2 large albums and a collection of over-sized portraits.
In the blue-colored album and other album with a pretty lady on the front, the majority of the photos are cabinet cards
with just a few, smaller photos in the back of the albums.
Thirty-five of the portraits are Identified - the majority of these are cabinet cards.
Twenty photos are unidentified - but you may be able to put a name with a face by comparing some
of the other photos in the two albums on some of these.

Jane Campbell was born in 1816 in Pennsylvania. She married Conrad Ault on March 19, 1835, in Belmont, Ohio.
They had seven children in 13 years. She died as a young mother on October 4, 1849, in Belmont, Ohio, at the age of 33.
John David Ault was born on March 11, 1881, in Columbus, Indiana, to Valentine 27 and Margaret 27.
He married Laura Ellen Swank on March 14, 1901, in Bartholomew, Indiana. They had one child during their marriage.
He died on October 8, 1967, in Cupertino, California, at the age of 86, and was buried in his hometown.

NOTE Research shows:
Pe Ell, Washington was a bustling logging center and a booming downtown, soon after being incorporated in 1906.
Sadly, the Great Depression in the early 1930s brought an end to Pe Ell’s prosperity. Mills shut down. Businesses closed.
Many moved away, just after this album was started.
