He cofounded Garden City, Kansas. Famous cowboy and big game hunter. Also known for helping to preserve North American Bison, in the 1880s and 1890s.”

NOTE Research Shows: Charles Jesse "Buffalo" Jones was born: January 31, 1844 in Illinois and died: October 1, 1919 in Topeka, Kansas. C.J. Jones was the subject of Zane Grey, in his western saga The Last of the Plainsman and of a 1976 movie that dramatically portrays the conversion of Charles Jesse "Buffalo" Jones from hunter to preserver of the American Bison. The flamboyant, boisterous Jones gained worldwide attention with his exploits of capturing, taming and breeding the threatened buffalo. He has been cited by the National Archives as one of the "preservers of the American bison".

Carl Axel Jungquist

NOTE: Research shows Carl Axel Jungquist was born on June 2, 1903, in Pacific Junction, Iowa, to John 36 and Anna 30. He married Juanita A Bigelow in 1930 in Vale, Oregon. They had two children during their marriage. He died on April 14, 1974, in Wenatchee, Washington, at the age of 70, and was buried there.
