 The first tintype has 6 friends from Old Princeton Illinois High School. It was taken at Christmas time

 NOTE: Research shows:

 

Reeve Norton received his mother’s maiden surname. He was born on October 20, 1859, in Princeton, Illinois, to David 40 and Clarissa 31. He married Ada Lucy Colton on June 24, 1886, in his hometown. They had four children in 12 years. He died on April 8, 1933, in his hometown.

 

Albert Smith was born in September 1861 in Illinois, to Caroline and J.Smith. He married Flora Johnston on October 30, 1887, in Pike, Illinois. They had two children during their marriage. He died on January 14, 1956 in Barry, Illinois.

 

Lucien Forrest McConihe was born on March 5, 1858, in Princeton, Illinois, the son of Isabella and Lucien. He married Julia Susan Charbonnel on October 31, 1885, in Cook, Illinois. They had six children in 15 years. He died on November 3, 1931, in Seattle, Washington.

 

Hugh Elmer Waddle was born on June 25, 1861, in Triadelphia, West Virginia, to Archibald 31 and Elizabeth 31. He married Alice Latimer in 1884. They had three children during their marriage. He died on June 21, 1922, in Princeton, Illinois.

I don't know what college for sure. Cambridge is very near but
the only college that I could find in Woburn, Massachusetts in 1929,
was the Peterson School of Steam Engineering.
It was probably one of those two.
Only first names are signed on these photos, except for
Dewey Born (Now a resident of Humboldt, Az.).
The first names are: Albert, Buddy, Don, Eddie, Harry,
George, Morris, Ray, Robert, Tom all from the class of 1929.
There is also a Mildred - Class of 1942.

 

These are all Studio Portraits in heavy cardboard frames.
